Coming Out: If you're ready to make the important decision to come out of the closet, here are a few resources that can provide encouragement and clarity through this process. Resources are available in both English and Spanish

Also make sure to visit the LGBT Resource Center on campus, where you can find information and talk with staff if you need to.

Language and Coming Out Issues for Latinas and Latinos:
A resource link by the HRC that describes challenges LGBT Latinas/os face when speaking the Spanish-language. For example, the Spanish-language itself is limited for discussion of sexual orientation or gender identity issues, and there’s a lack of LGBT resources that are printed in Spanish.
